Subject	I'm about to drive cross country and want avoid rock chips

Message	Well, I'm trying to at least cut down on the amount of rocks chips. Therefore I'm trying to come up with some ideas to protect my paint while on the drive. I've been told that blue painters tape works. But does anyone else have any other ideas? I've been considering a bra, but I've read about paint and bra rubbing against each other to make it almost like sandpaper rubbing off the paint. Also, I've gotten a lot of chips and nicks in my windshields on other cars on this long of a drive before, does anyone have any idea's for protecting the windshield as well?
